Grand Master Myung is a World Taekwondo Federation certified 7th Dan Black Belt who currently holds the position of President of the Ontario Taekwondo Association.

Grand Master Myung was a six-time Canadian National Team Trainer and Coach, and was a bodyguard to a former Korean Presidential Candidate.
